Our Friday night showcase presentation from the 2015 Folk Alliance International conference featured 10 outstanding performances from musicians both near and far to KC Cafe Radio’s home in Kansas City. The evening also proved to to be a demonstration of the breadth of music we call “Folk.” From the Roaring 20s, to blues, Americana, and today’s modern Folk, listeners to our live coverage were treated to a variety of musical sounds.
