The 2014 Folk Alliance Region Midwest Conference begins Thursday, October 23, at the Westport Chalet Hotel in Saint Louis Missouri.  Once again, KC Cafe Radio brings its microphones to the conference, with live broadcasts on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  Throughout our regular daytime programming, we will bring you highlights of what is happening at the conference, along with conversations with musicians of note attending the conference.   Then in the latenight, we go into “live-music-mode,” as we present 18 musicians performing from our Private Showcase room at the conference.  All showcase broadcasts are slated to begin at midnight, Central Time.  We invite you to tune in and join the party!
