June 22, 2010 – Toledo Ohio blues band and KC Cafe Radio Performing Artist Buck69 announces they have been awarded semi-finalist in the Toldeo Blade Battle of the Bands competition.

The group will perform in the semi-final round of the competition, during the Red White Kaboom festival.  More information on the performance is available here.  Winners of the semi-final round go on to play in the finalist competition August 12-15 at the Northwest Ohio Rib Off.

This is the second year in a row the group has earned a semi-final spot in the competition.  Last year, they went on to receive the top honors in the Blues category.  Selection for the competition is partially based on votes cast by visitors to the Toledo Blade Battle of the Bands website.  As of this writing, the group has received a total of 575 votes.
