SXSW Coverage
On Thursday March 19, KC Cafe Radio was provided with the opportunity to showcase live independent music from the South By Southwest Music Festival in Austin, Texas.
Thanks to an arrangement with Spacial Audio, approximately three hours of live performance from Logan's On Sixth in the heart of the Austin entertainment district was provided for our broadcast. In addition to having aired the show live on KC Cafe Radio, we are also archiving some of the performances here.
The recordings are in two parts. You may either play the audio right out of this web page by clicking on the appropriate "play" button below, or you may click on the "download" link to save the audio to your computer and/or transfer to your personal music player. In some cases, you may have to right-click on the download link, then choose "save target as," or "save link as" in order to download the audio.
You may notice a few audio "glitches" here and there, and due to Internet outages and other factors beyond our control that occurred during the live broadcast, some performances begin "already in-progress", or end abruptly. Still, we think there is plenty of good performances to enjoy here, and is an example of the unique brand of new music that Internet stations such as KC Cafe Radio can bring.
