KC Cafe Radio is pleased to extend you this invitation to our annual Christmas Concert, held again this year at Gusto Coffee shop in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Four hours of live music, great holiday treats and all-around good merriment will be the theme of the evening at this unique venue located minutes away from Kansas City’s largest holiday light display.
The concert gets underway at 6PM Central Time. Drop by Gusto Coffee Shop early to take advantage of hand crafted coffees, specialty lattes and other unique drinks, along with a sandwich, and later enjoy home made desserts or choose from their unique selection of Christopher Elbow chocolates. If you are not able to join us in-person, whip up your own piping cup of wassail, and join us online for the music and merriment!

Folk Alliance Region West (FAR-West) honored three recipients with the Best of the West Awards, at the 2015 Annual Music Conference in Oakland, California on Saturday, October 17. Singer/songrwiter Cris Williamson was presented with the Performer award, house concert proprietors and Far-West co-founders Russ and Julie Paris received the Ambassador Award, and the Lifetime Achievement Award was given to music educator and mentor Penny Nichols.
