Thanks to singer/songwriter, KC Cafe Radio Performing Artist, and proprietor of Gypsy Wagon Mobile Recording Studio David Hakan, KC Cafe Radio was well represented at the 2019 Walnut Valley Bluegrass Festival in Winfield Kansas. The festival, drawing acoustic musicians from around the world, is held annually the third weekend in September. The 2019 festival was held September 18-22.
Appreciation is extended to those who took some time to visit with David and play a few tunes for our microphones during the event: Ethan Batan, Jim McCarter, Ken Brunson, Melicent King, Sally Vee, Adam Gardino & Kelly Champlin, Elliot Ranney, Emily Johnson Erday, Fred Baue, Grant Boesen and Jim Campbell.
