This October, KC Cafe Radio celebrates our 5th year of bringing you live broadcast coverage from the annual Folk Alliance Region-West (FAR-West) Music Conference.  This year’s coverage begins at 9PM (Central Time) on Friday, October 11, with live music from the first of two mainstage showcase events, at the Warner Center Marriott Hotel in Woodland Hills, California.  Coverage continues on Saturday, October 12 with live coverage of the Best of the West Awards ceremony at 2PM (Central Time), and the final mainstage showcase event at 9PM (Central Time).

To celebrate this 5th anniversary event, we present some of the finest musical moments from the past four years of FAR-West conference coverage in a series we call Live @ FAR-West.  Today, we highlight two performances from the 2018 conference featuring John Batdorf and Ernest Troost.
