Mick Byrd is a prolific singer/songwriter from the small town of Vienna Missouri and a good friend of KC Café Radio.  His tenth album Goodnite Tonite has been a favorite on KC Café Radio since its release last year.  Mick describes his music as Ozark Blues.  But after talking to Mick and listening to his music you understand that his music goes beyond blues or country or rock.  He is an eclectic singer/songwriter whose songs encompass not only a variety of genres but also a diverse world of characters and topics.

Recently KC Café Radio Music Director, Kathy Forste had the chance to interview Mick via Zoom.  They talked about his love of songwriting and performing.  They also chatted about what it’s like to have a music career living in a small town.  Mick debuts three new songs not yet recorded especially for KC Café Radio.
