Thanks to singer/songwriter, KC Cafe Radio Performing Artist, and proprietor of Gypsy Wagon Mobile Recording Studio David Hakan, KC Cafe Radio was well represented at the 2018 Walnut Valley Bluegrass Festival in Winfield Kansas. The festival, drawing acoustic musicians from around the world, is held annually the third weekend in September. The 2018 festival was held September 12 to 16.
Appreciation is extended to those who took some time to visit with David and play a few tunes for our microphones during the event: Annie Wilson, Bob Burbee, Bob Malcom, Emily Johnson-Erday, Gene Collier, Janice Francis-Smith, Jim McCarter, Kenny Cornell, Latresa and the Signal, Mark Heinrich, Melicant King, Payton Blanchard, Ron Land, Sally and the Hurts, and Utah Slim.
